Can Any Members Share Their Experience Shopping w/New England Airgun?

I've seen this company's site for some months and browsed it a few times. I've looked them up on AGN, the Better Business Bureau site, Yelp!, Facebook, and Trip Advisor. I haven't seen many recent reviews. Their FB page indicates that they were closed for a time during the pandemic and reopened in May I believe. I didn't see any complaints filed with the BBB even though they aren't registered with them. I called the store number (978) 567-6970 and got an answering machine. It appears they open at 5pm EST. I'll try again later if I don't forget. Has anyone shopped with them online? If so how long ago and how was your experience? Anyone shop there in person? If so, what was your impression of the business and their products? Here's a link to the site https://www.newenglandairgun.com

I bought a Daystate Regal XL online not quite two months ago. Everything went great. One of the few really good experiences I have had with airgun buying. They run an airgun range in Mass, which is one of the strictest states in the country on powder burners. The range is closed but they still keep the range hours. The owner John is a great guy and someone always answered the phone during their hours of operation when I called unlike AOA where I get 16 or 26 calls waiting ahead of me. It is usually John or a lady and they are both extremely helpful and not all "commission salesman" like Pyramid. John is fun to chat with and great about answering questions. He will spend the time with you. The gun was only one in stock and the lady took the time to look the gun over and described the stock figuring to me, made sure it was right handed and not a return etc.

The gun shipped either the next day or day after... I forgot. It appeared to be tested for at least air leaks and came fully charged. At least I could tell it held a charge perfectly for several days in shipping. Packaging was great and gun arrived pristine. The gun was exactly as described, works great and is definetely a keeper. I wish all my airgun online shopping experiences went this good.

That sounds great guys. Now I feel more comfortable sharing with you all that they have pellets. Some are available via “Warehouse Direct.” I’m not sure what that means, so I’m waiting to speak with someone about it.
Here’s a link to some warehouse direct pellets:

.22 caliber https://www.newenglandairgun.com/store/c20/.22_Pellets_-_Warehouse_Direct.html

.25 caliber https://www.newenglandairgun.com/store/c19/.25_Pellets_-_Warehouse_Direct.html

.30 caliber https://www.newenglandairgun.com/store/c16/.30_cal_pellets_-_Warehouse_Direct.html

This link contains pellets (of various calibers) the site claims are in stock in their brick and mortar store https://www.newenglandairgun.com/store/c89/JSB_Pellets_-_In_Store.html

It’s on!! I just got off the phone with Cody and they have inventory on the JSB .25 MKII pellets and JSB .25 33.95 grn King Heavy pellets. I have to wait a few minutes for him to add the regular King Heavies to the site because he says they’re in the store, but I not showing on the site right now. They have a “buy 5 tins get one free” offer too. Didn’t ask how long that’s going on. The way he explained that it works is, you place your order for the amount of tins you wish to purchase and they will add the bonus tins to your order when they package up your shipment. For example if you order 5 tins they will pack 6 for the price of 5 tins.

He also explained that “warehouse direct” is just another way of ordering where items not in stock in their store will ship directly to you from the warehouse with a slightly longer lead time.

As for shipping, Cody explained that their site calculates shipping by weight so although the shipping price you see at checkout may be high, if it costs less than what you pay at checkout New England Airguns will credit the difference back to your card. This is all information I received via phone from Cody. I’m going to place a test order to see how it works out. I’ll probably leave them some feedback in the “Dealer and Manufacturer Feedback” forum. Wish me luck.

Just got my order of .25 Mark II pellets from them I asked on the order note to carefully pack them as they have a long way to go=west coast. You can see from the included picture the top rate packing job they did! On the bottom side of the tins, on the bottom of the box the foam was about an inch and a half thick under the tins. All pellets and cans arrived in perfect condition, and they sent my extra free can too! I will definitely do business with them again anytime.

I have called them in the past, and spoke to a very pleasant woman so their customer service is very good too. These were just ordered over the internet with no phone contact on 07/22 and they arrived 07/24

@Gillgirl66 Good to know. I left a similar message with my order. How were your shipping charges? Did they credit back a portion of your shipping payment after they sent your pellets?

Placed an order yesterday for 12 tins and a pack of slugs and I was initially charged $50 for shipping. Today I received a $16 refund which brings my shipping total to $34. I also got an email notification that my order is "on its way" with a USPS tracking number. I clicked the tracking number and got a "label created, not yet in system" message on the USPS site. I believe the store opens at 5pm EST on weekdays so I'm not sure if it will ship out this evening or tomorrow morning. We'll see how long it takes to ship and the condition the pellets arrive in.

I cancelled my order from them when it came to 14.00 shipping and I live in the same state for 4 tins. No way would I pay 50 or 34 for shipping pellets.

@RickM I don’t blame you. Did you call them? You may have been able to get some more detailed info considering that you live relatively close they should be open right now

Since my last post in this thread I received another $25 refund, so if they didn’t make a mistake I was refunded $41 total and paid $9 for shipping. The blacked out portions are my order number and total spent.
