Can an air pistol be shipped to an individual in Sacramento CA?

A airgun is not a firearm. Only firearm will need a ffl. I have never heard of any airgun needing a ffl. Also when you ship it, they dont even know it's a airgun or what's inside. Sometime like usps or FedEx they will ask what's inside. Just say a toy, sporting good, a gift. Etc. Never said there is a gun. Most worker working there do not know the difference between a airgun and a firearm.

Good luck getting any insurance if there is theft or damage and you've lied about the contents. Something to think about.

No issue here .. FEDX had to pay out @ $500 @ a year ago because they broke in half the rifle stock on an HW-35 walnut. Marked as SPORTING GOODS it was not a lie and they had no where to wiggle out of it. We COULD NOT purchase a Walnut stock by its self anywhere including germany. When claim was formally filed we had STOCK ONLY at $500 and they paid it ! Ordered another HW35 Walnut Complete gun ... used the stock on the customers gun. The rest 😉 and the broken stock they cared less about became another gun.

Be smart and cover your bases .. the rest will fall in place if something goes sideways.
