Camera / Scope set up for praire dogs

i have a friend that wants to video his shots while praire dog shooting / hunting.

Anyone know What set up is bob O’Conner using?

and what would you recommend for his Leupold vxIII with 30 mm tube? Thanks

I think it's a Side Shot with the GoPro.

and from the voice of experience..Dont go cheap

got a phone/camera mount off ebay (12.oo IIRC) thats well made, but fiddly to get lined up. gets knocked off alignement easily.... spent an hour mounting on my skyhawk yesterday.... worked great, till I had to change the mag... which the old cell fone completely covered up.

adecent set up you can set and forget will not be cheap. BUt it will save you soooooooo mcuh time and especially frustration it will be well worth it.

I contacted the guys at Utah Airguns and they were soooo helpful.. My friend is going to talk with one of their guys and go from there.. Way to go UA!!!

A lot of the guys are using the SideShot and the PhoneSkope with the GoPro adapter but running a Firefly 8SE instead of the GoPro camera. It's what I'm using, easy to set up and records great footage. The Firefly camera runs about $150 also.
