The weather gods were perfect today so I decided to do some hold over shooting. I set pellet tins out at 50 yards, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 120, and 130 yards

GOT out  my impact 25 shot my holdovers twice everything was perfect. So I cracked out my Cricket 25-shot my holdovers twice everything's perfect. I started to pick up my targets and I said let me get out my new Artemis p15. I just re-crowned it re moderated it and worked on the trigger. I thought I'd try some 50-yard shots because that's about all I expect out of this gun. That's why I bought it so I could shoot 25 to 50 yard Critters and targets. It will never shoot with impact or Cricket it's not a Target gun it's a critter gun. Surprise 50-yard dead center 75 Center .  Good hits @ 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, and 130.

Now call me crazy. How can this little gun shoot like that? No, I'm not shooting the eyeballs out of anything, but I'm hitting a 4 inch circle which is what a pellet tin is, at 130 yards. I'm going to try to do this again tomorrow.   I just can't believe this is a fluke.

Lol you're not crazy. Mine is shooting the eyeballs out of things.

It initially needed a new barrel, but now post LW, it amazingly enough outshoots my FX Crown, is on par with my Vulcan and is currently only outperformed by my Red Wolf.

They're an exceptionally solid little platform – far, far better than the price would indicate.

    Mine P15  the same !

I sold the wildcat bacause P15 is better

I made a lot of "enemies" because of my opinion for the "cheap chinese crap"

I can easily make groups at 100+ meters at empty 5.5 tins and sometimes i cant hear the noice because pellets goes at the same hall !

I put inside a bigger plenum, 10cc more, and i have 230-95 bar 90 shots at 27 ft/lb from 210cc high pressure capacity

I also made a new stock and i moved the trigger 8cm front for better handling

When 'Insanity' is calling you insane,  it's beyond-official.  🤣

awesome Awesome AWESOME!  It's great to hear that your P15 is shooting so well!
I can't wait to be able to test mine out at farther distances, but the way it shoots now,
it wouldn't surprise me one bit if I saw the same type of results..  They're no joke..

    I absolutely love mine!

Inexpensive, simple, and CHEAP are not four-letter words. And as I've written before (more than once), not only is simplicity the hallmark of good design, but as pertains homespun gunsmithing, simple designs often respond incredibly well to simple modifications.

For example, the 1950s-vintage Crosman 160 .22 Co2 rifle pictured below possesses the world's simplest trigger/sear design; so simple the trigger and sear are one and the same piece! But employing the most BASIC trigger-smithing techniques (of stoning, polishing and moly-lube) resulted in a crisp, creep-free break under two pounds, and (consequently) State Champion titles and National Record certificates for the half-century old pellet rifle… captured at the expense of the finest European springers produced in the new millennium (Air Airms, Weihrauch, and Whiscombe). BTW, this Sears & Roebuck variant of the Crosman 160 sold for less than THIRTY BUCKS brand new.

So after reading this post, I have a question for you. Do you feel any better about your brand of insanity now?
