Caldwell ballistic precision usb issue

Hi all .

I have a caldwell ballistic precision chronograph ( G1) and have been using it for a couple years with the caldwell app on my samsung galaxy s8+ via a 3.5mm headphone jack , upon purchasing a new galaxy s20 i found that the phone no longer has a headphone jack so i tried connecting the phone to the chrono with a USB 'C TYPE' to 3.5MM JACK lead but it wont work , i have tried contacting battenfeld technologys but still havent had a response back yet.

Anyone encountered this ? Does anyone have any ideas?

Not meant to sound like a smart aleck.

I don't know how accurate microphones are.

I know I just shoot 1-2' from muzzle, and then move it on back, 20yrds, 40, 60, 80, 100 & compare readings. 
If you're unable to do the walking, I apologize and recommend saving for a Labradar. I know they're expensive but I guess it comes down to how precise and far you wish to shoot.

I'd just use the old phone for a dedicated purpose with the chrony.

This I have and no telephones work good. The microphone is no good for any reason. Greetings from Catalonia. Adeú

I have a MPOW(brand name) model BH281A with a 3.5mm plug that plugs into one of my TV's and transmits a wifi signal to my headphones. Could you use something like that to plug into your chrony and receive it on your new phone?

Maybe I mean blue tooth not wifi. Don't really know the diference.
