Remarks:
This was beautiful day with perfect temperature and enough wind to be noticeable. Ron had targets set up by the time shooters started arriving. Perfectly cut grass on wide opened sloped field shined gorgeous green and only if you look really carefully you will notice shiny colored targets scattered throughout a field.
There were 4 targets per lane and shooting order was near to far one shot each than repeat again near to far one more shot. Some targets were elevated on various height stands which provided added difficulty for far targets, as it changed wind profile completely.
After sighting in and brief safety meeting 9 shooters began the match. No timers were used, but despite this shooters moved pretty quickly from late to lane. We had one new guy, Dan, show up to watch field target and ask questions about the sport and what is needed to get started. Some jokes and innuendos were exchanged and a lot of laughs happened during the match.
After match was over, Ron and his family made hot dogs. Everyone helped to clean up targets and wind up strings.
After most of everyone left, me Leo and Tom shot pistol silhouette match off hand. We did not keep score for this, it was mostly for practice and fun, but I believe Tom did the best.
John shot overall match high score beating Chas by 1 point. Overall everyone did well in slight breeze and we hope to see everyone back in September.

Deleted AccountAccuracy: +65Thanks for the report Vasyl. I had a great time and though I shot match high using a nerf gun I'm not satisfied. I'll be happy to see whomever makes it to Maine for Bill Days shoot otherwise I'll see ya all at Crosman.
Also thanks again Ron,Mike and the rest who helped set up the match, cook the dogs and break things down after.

Thank you for the match report and the pictures. We also had 9 shooters at Delaware County yesterday. It was a wonderful day weather wise for FT shooting. the subject of match reports came up and some thought that because there are not always a lot of comments after a report that people don't read them. Just so all of you "match reporters" know; Lots of us read your reports with interest so please don't think your reports are not read or appreciated. I very much like to hear about matches at other clubs and what they are doing. Sometimes we can pick up things to do that will improve our own matches and it lets us know what is going on elsewhere as I don't travel as well as I used to. I read and appreciate all match reports but don't always have a comment. Thanks for your efforts.
