Buying new scope

should not be as frustrating as I seem to be making it. Way too many scopes to chose from. When one reads the customer reviews on, in this instance, there are always conflicting opinions on every make and model. One mans' junk is anothers' best he has ever owned. I wish there was a really good checklist of options boxes to check to boil out all the info that I don't need or want. Geez.

"linsfreak"Aeon buddy!!!!
That's another thing. You are probably right. In fact, I have looked at them a couple times. For some reason, if I have never heard of a company before, I tend to be skeptical of it. Of course, half the scope companies I haven't heard of anyway. The old name optics companies are out of my price range. ($200ish)

BTW, for anyone reading this, it is called Quality Assurance these days. Quality control is a different term that is usually not used by most of todays' good companies. Quality control refers to a process where the product is completely built and out the door and then let's see what is wrong and when we get enough complaints we will fix it.
Quality Assurance refers to the manufacturing process where the product is built correctly at each stage in it's build.
Anyway I have not ruled out the AEONs yet. Thanks.
