Arguably, the barrel is the first factor in having an accurate airgun. If the barrel is laser-accurate why would someone sell it? Of course selling it because changing calibers for good, or having extra barrels laying around, downsizing , etc makes sense. But, I am wondering how others here approach a used barrel being offered for sale?
Considering the anecdotally example that 1- or 2 out of 10 Lothar barrels are exceptional (while the other 8 are excellent), and considering that buying anything that was just purchased a short time ago and now being offered for sale at a modest loss to the original purchaser...
