buy a FX Impact now or wait?

If I understood Ernest correctly, they will be coming out with barrels and barrel liners for the Impact shortly and they have made a new and improved regulator for it also. Methinks I would wait a tad longer ... you may just be able to order whatever caliber you want with the twist rate you want straight from the factory without having to purchase a new barrel and liner ... while those of us who own the impact will have to buy the barrel and liner in addition to what we already have.

From what I hear those Twist X barrel liners are easy to produce and pretty darn inexpensive so it shouldn't be a massive problem rolling them out to customers fairly rapidly. That ... plus a new and improved regulator might make all the difference in the world with your accuracy.

While the Twist X may be produced inexpensively for the manufacturer, I would not assume that FX or AOA will sell them inexpensively! Beware!

At the release of the Crown FX stated they hoped to make the liners available for $99US. 

I'd say at least get on a list if it doesn't cost anything and if you decide you don't want one later on you can always pas it on to the next person waiting for one, at least this way you won't have to worry about it.

They also stated that the crown will be cheaper then the impact.. but the prices keep going up on the crown.. the luminate ones cost the same as the crown.
