I purchased an Aztec Emerald 5.5X25X50 for my Bantam Sniper because of all the great things people were saying about them, the Aztec is very nice, however the crosshairs are hard to see with certain backgrounds and when you go over 20X the clarity really suffers. Last week I purchased a Bushnell Engage 6-25X50 both scopes are 30mm tube. The Bushnell is superior in every way, build quality, clarity even at full power, crosshairs are dam near perfect, scope is shorter and lighter. The best part is the Bushnell was $50 less. Compared to the Bushnell the Aztec is overpriced. Bushnell also has a superior warranty in terms of service. I can see myself buying another one of these Engage scope. Both scopes focus down to 10 yards.

The Engage Scopes are.GREAT !! I am a huge fan of them.. And I agree 100% . It's better period . All you have enough to do is hold both and play with them to see.and feel it . The Aztec is a good buy , the Engage is a Great buy

Right now the Bushnell engage 30mm have a $70 rebate - very good deal. Bushnell made good on the last round of rebates. Amazon has the lowest prices.
My only concern is that the reticle is very hard to see in dark settings, I wish it had Illumination. I also noticed that the ocular wobbles a bit, and the side focus knob is a bit loose when you add a sidewheel. Otherwise the optics are great.

Those sound like concerns, not a concern... still happy with the Aztec Emerald it has illumination and an awesome reticle the ocular doesn’t wobble and the side focus wheel is bomber. Mine had sent many pest to the afterlife. I’m sure there is clearer glass, but for me the Aztec is kick-ass.

Must have gotten a faulty scope. Have you returned it under the Bushnell Ironclad lifetime warranty? I’ve had five of these 30mm Bushnell Engage scopes and not one of them had a loose side focus knob or wobbly ocular...
