Bushnell Engage 2.5-10x44, 30mm tube, Deploy MOA reticle

Great deal on a very good scope. Amazon Prime day has it for under $200 (approx. $195), today only. Lightweight 19 ounces, 30mm tube, super clear optics, good turrets, MOA/MOA setup. I have a couple of these and really like them.

Interesting scope, especially if it will actually focus/parallax down to 10 yards as advertised.

A negative for me however is the lack of reticle illumination considering the "fine lined" & busy reticle. I often shoot in shaded woods (even my back yard practice lane is shaded) and I'm thinking that the reticle would get lost when aiming at a dark target in the shade.

I have a 4-16x44 and a 6-24x50 (which are also on sale). They range pretty good, better than my Athlon's, but no lighted reticle is tough on darker settings or black targets. The 1MOA is great for hold overs, though. I don't think that they are springer rated, as one has failed with an imperceptible left-right shift (1" at 50 yards). I thought it was the springer - rebuilt it, changed it out, swapped barrels, swapped seals - all came back. Changed scopes and scores went up. Fortunately lifetime warranty, no questions asked.

What a deal! If this was a month ago I would have bought one. I just got the 3-12x42. I still have to mount it, but it looks and feels really nice. I had reservations about mounting it on my Diana 470th so I called and asked Bushnell about putting it on a springer. They said it should hold up, but if it didn't they will warranty it. I am curious to see if it does as I have had scopes that are rated for it fail before anyways.

A great buy for sure.
