Bullet/pellet traps

I'm passing along a good bullet trap build I found on eBay if anyone's interested. This guy makes a pretty nice bullet trap if anyone is interested. I bought one and have ran 1200 rounds through it. Shooting indoors at 10 yards it has a bit of noise with 50.15 grain JSB's (louder than the gun) but I think that rubber spray-on bed liner may tone that down. He makes and sells one or two per week.

I checked and his price for 18" is $330 plus $100 shipping. And his 12" is $165 plus $40 shipping. And these are only bid, which means it will be much more. Isn't worth it imo to spend $400 plus on a trap. Make your own. I went to home depot. Bought a 1" 4"x3" 8ft long board for $3. Cut into small pieces and make a 9"x12" box. Put a steel 1/4" thick, 9"x12" plate behind..and you got yourself a powerful trap for under $20. The front part where you place your target and shoot is just a piece of cardboard wrap with duck tape.

For that price though you could build one for way less if you have a wielder and something to cut the metal with like a plasma cutter. Hell a grinder would even do the job. I know the metal supply co I go to has a good amount of precut stuff that would be ideal. Now where I do agree with the price is the time it took to make. Still a bit steep though.
