Bullet mold

The mold is .452. Too small. You want .458 sized to .457. 

I have a 350 grain mold (.457) from Midway. They were about 20.00 each. Not too good results with the SS, also have a 450 and round ball both .457 Trying NSA slugs hoping for better results. The NOE pellet mold could be interesting, waiting for their arrival and report.

I use the lee 340-f mold for my texan. The bullets shoot very well as cast out to 50 yards. I have not shot farther than that becasue shots at deer were I had expected to be hunting would be under 25 yards. As long as you follow the break in directions the mold will work well and it can be had under $30 new. I have attached a photo of a 50 yard target shot with the lee 340-f bullets from my stock standard .45 texan.
