Bullboss .25 Mods

After working on my butt stock adjustment mod ( Bullboss Butt Stock ), I thought about adding a clip support on my Bullboss. after looking around I decided to get the support embedded in the stock opening near the butt like that:

That is my first throw at it. I thought about having a thinner support, but I decided to have it fully enclosing the clips so they are not getting caught on things and have less chances to loose them. As 3D printing is hallow, I do not have to worry about the weight increase. We are talking about 12 g of plastic.

For now, I do have a tight fit and the clips are held tightly in. A small knob is holding the clip in the well by putting pressure on the center of the clip as shown there:

But I hit the butt left and right and had one clip come out at one point, not that I am seeing myself jamming my Ag while hunting, but I do not want to loose a clip either. So I am looking at printing a 2nd version of it like that.

That way I have a small latch that can block the 2 clips or one of the other. I have to wait for my filament before I can print that one. I will keep the updates coming. I went to the shooting range to test it today and it worked well. The problem with the cold is to get them out of there ;)

More updates to come

@Thelceman,

Let me see what I come with on the new version. Using my first Version today with my friend, showed me that I would have to have a L and R handed version as it was awkward for him.

But I will keep you in my mind. I can print it in any colors.

I do love my Bullboss too. it is plenty good at 100 yards. I am waiting on my Huma reg by next week. I am looking forward to that

Take a look at the Hatsan Tactical stock on the AT44, They have magazine holders built into them. They use a small detent ball and spring to hold them in.

I took some picture's on my AT44 tac so you can see what I mean.

That is nice, I thought about doing something mechanical like that, but I was afraid that the aluminum from the mag would get marked or damaged. The metal is pretty soft and I didn't want to damage the knob, but it looks like they are pressing the ball on the back side. I like that.

Thanks
