Budget used phone for night vision cam

Hey guys. I have a ir flashlight with good throw and my new discovery scope came with a cell phone mount. I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on a cheap used smartphone that is easy to get to the red filter. I have a htc one but it requires heating and I am not even sure it has a red filter or if its built into the glass. At any rate if any of you have gone through this process and have some hints id be grateful I am saving up for a nightsight but as you know that cost some serious shekels. Ty
 
not quite the same process, but if you take a cheap used digital camera and remove the IR filter in front of the lens (you must take the camera apart and remove the little glass filter), it's a great IR camera at that point. You can use an Infra Red (IR) flashlight and the camera will pick up the IR light, really well. You can mount using any standard camera / scope mount. I have a couple cameras I've done that to. do be prepared to destroy a camera or two along the trail, but beater digitals are cheap these days.

I recommend you to buy Besteker 1080P Video Camera IR Night Vision Full HD, HDV-5052 with Infrared Night Vision Touch Screen, because they both are quite good enough, I personally use the second one and really its result is awesome, I bought mine one from Reecoupons, here things are quite cheap instead of other stores, you didn't mention here your budget so it was lil bit difficult for me to suggest you but they both are not more than $300. I hope it will help you to select the best one.
