Bucket of Birds!

"1kshooter"Nice work! ..and a lot of fun for sure, what pellet were you using?
I have switched to JSB exclusively now in the 18.13 grain as I find it bucks the wind well is extremely accurate out of my gun (FX Indy.22) and hits critters very hard!
thanks for sharing with us!
Jonathan
My gun loves the JSB 15.9 but I had a few of the JSB 13.4 left over and was using those. Probably could have taken a few more with the heavier pellets in the wind.

"Birdkiller"Ever since I got a pellet gun I kind of wished I live at a farm. It is fun to sit by a tree about 30 yards away and smack starlings and grackles for a few hours. In the woods where I live you only see em in the summer but I do manage to get a few starlings around my house by the deer feeder.
Yep I wouldn't want to live anywhere else...unlimited shooting range and plenty of pest to dispatch (not grackles) :)

Starlings have always preferred the open yards and fields down the road, thought they did begin to venture to my ground bird feeding area last spring.

That is interesting, they were willing to come back after losing one of the "gang", starlings quickly learned there are better places to be than my yard area, but grackles kept coming back, though much edgier after seeing their friends fall over after they heard the kitchen window open.

"Acutus"Starlings are good to shoot for everyone as are House Sparrows and Collard Doves where they exist! check your laws before you shoot Grackles though. They aren't legal to shoot everywhere. make sure it's legal in your area especially before you post pics on the WWW! ;) ;)
Acutus,

I don't know if this is directed at me but I don't shoot Grackles, they are protected here...the pic I posted is all Starlings.
