I've been shooting the R10 for the past 4 months and love it! Upgraded to a 500 buddy bottle for Best Fitting and a Huma regulator. 18.1 grain pellets from H&N and JSB work the best. 50 yard groups the size of a dime. 75 and 100 yards are the size of a quarter. I have reached out as far as 150 yards and still hit paper. Groups are around 8 inches at 125 yards and all scattered at 150 yards. I have to single load most large grain pellets and slugs cause they don't fit in the magazine. The R10 is a great gun which shoots just as good as ;pcp rifles like the FX impacts.

I placed a order yesterday from AOA. My first PCP, started researching bullpups, then tactical and came back to the classic stock configuration. After I stumbled upon the BSA R10 SE in black laminate. I plan to bench shoot only. Now in search of a HP compressor.

You now have the addiction. The PCP money pit awaits. The AGN members can help you throw money in there. 😁 LOL I started off like that.

Thanks for the welcome.

Wow I’m so impressed with the BSA R10. Fit and finish, refined lines, Accurate just what wished for. I bounced around bw Kral puncher breaker and Benjamin Akela .22. From my new found addiction to YouTube air gunners I heard a common trope “buy what you can afford and feel comfortable in spending”. I agreed and decided to to avoid the common progression of entry level to high end. I’ve taken that path many times, MTB/cycling, HI FI, Astronomy & firearms.

Thus opted for the BSA R10, impressed with their historical legacy and reviews. Today I mounted my spare Redfield Revolution 3-7X - 33 scope, sighted in at @50yrds Wow 🤩 easily 1/2” groups. Moved out to a 4” gong at 100yrds 😁hit it at first try and every shot that followed using JSB Diablo 15.89g. That was never possible with my Ruger/Umarex Targis Max gas springer .177 cal. I was happy with its 70-80% success rate.
I upped the difficulty and placed a few Costco mandarin cuties @100yds, Wow this rifle is boosting my ego 👁.
This is my first experience with .22cal pellets, I’m not happy with the quality of the JSB’s, many of the pellets were malformed. So opened a tin of Crosman Ultra Magnum 14.3gr, all pellets are in perfect shape with smooth shiny domes. Where as the JSBs were dull and rough.

Tested the Crosman Ultra Mag and they are just as accurate as the JSBs. Sticking with Crosman. I’m now looking forward in honing my skills, no “excuses “it’s not the rifle”! Next level targets are paintballs & bottle caps.

I started out with a gamo coyote and loved it. Really nice gun that you could tell was extremely well built and solid( after I added a longer screw for the trigger 2nd stage adjustment) I was so impressed with the bsa upper on that gun that I had to buy a r10. What a gun the r10 is. I thought the upper was smooth and refined on my coyote but oh man the r10 was that much better. Very impressed with the r10. It has such a nice trigger and everything is so smooth. The clicks when you operate the bolt are very nice and it has ended up being one of favorite guns

I've had my R10 SE for almost a year and a half and it remains my favorite rifle. I swapped the regulator to a Huma and changed the bottle to a 280cc unit from Best Fittings. Shoots JSB 18.13s at 860 or so fps. I range out to 85 yards at my house and the rifle is spot on as long as I do my part. The rifle isn't very pellet fussy under 50 yards, but pellet choice does matter beyond that. I might have to take advantage of the prices at Pyramid and get one in .177 before they're all gone!
