BSA R-10 with Ultra Barrel Chrony Numbers

The numbers are in! Below is the shot string for my BSA R-10 in .22 cal with a HuMa regulator, a R.A.W. 480cc carbon bottle, and Ultra 12" barrel. Some of you may have seen me posting about this a few weeks ago. It was originally supposed to be 27 FPE in this configuration but, we couldn't get that much energy out of the shorter barrel with factory parts. At that point, the original barrel was put back on and the rifle was sent back to me doing 88 shots at 27 FPE. The rifle was incredibly accurate in this state but, I just couldn't give up on the shorter overall length. She is now 35" and doing a hair over 23 FPE. This string was shot from a 270 BAR fill. Pellets were JSB 15.89 with a 5.52mm head diameter. I should have the rifle back this Friday and am hoping to do a chronograph session from 250 BAR. As well as get a 30 yard Mike Manabe challenge in. From what I'm told, and I have no reason to doubt it, this setup is a tack driving machine.

Are you able to fill to such a high bar because of the cf bottle?
Paul
Yes. The 270 fill was technically an over fill for the bottle. R.A.W. says 250 on they're site. The 232 bar factory fill limit is because of the factory reg not the factory bottle. I believe you have a HuMa. If you do, you can fill to the bottle's max fill.

I had not removed enough wood from the end of the forearm. Where the "tongue" is. This was causing a slight upward pressure on the bottle, making it hit the shroud. Instead of trying to remove more with the dremel, I cut the "tongue" off. I cut a little more then I needed to but, I don't have any clearance issues. I'm ordering a new stock and am going to have my gunsmith actually inlet the stock correctly. This stock will then go on a Scorpion / Ultra barrel conversion.
