BSA R-10 with Ultra Barrel, Carbon Tank and HuMa Reg

Okay, the rifle is still at the tuners so, I don't have hard data yet on shot count or FPE. But, I do have some eye candy to show you!

It started as a standard R-10.

I then added a 480cc R.A.W. carbon bottle and upgraded to the HuMa reg. I also put a Huggett moderator on it.

It then went off to the tuners. He put a 12" Ultra barrel on it. Pictured with the Huggett.

Then with the Huub Schroud.

Then with the Huub Schroud in the stock. Overall length is 35 inches!

Alas, it wasn't meant to be. The rifle no longer has an Ultra barrel on it. The Ultra barrel was VERY accurate but, we couldn't get the power I was after. I wanted at least 27 FPE and with everything maxed out, it was getting 23. So, now it has it's original barrel on with a Huub shroud. I still think she looks sexy. I'll just have to do a Scorpion with Ultra barrel at 20 FPE or an R-10 .177 with an Ultra barrel. Oh, the options!! Once I get the rifle back I'll post numbers.

Sorry Pulps, she'll be with me for a loooonnnnnnggggg time. ;) You could have one done up like this though. Talk to Nick at
www.air-superiorityproducts.com. He's the one that tuned it up for me. Super nice guy and really knows his stuff. I already have a couple of other projects I'm talking with him about.

The tune is officially done and I have some chrony numbers. The pellets used are JSB 15.89gr, 5.53MM head.

88 shots with 240 BAR fill.
887 fps average.
3.52 fps st. deviation
16 fps extreme spread

I couldn't take it! I had to have the Ultra barrel! I don't care that is 20 FPE! I'm a good shot and it's stupid accurate!!

So, the rifle is on its way back to the tuners to be refitted. I'll post chrony numbers when I get it back. It should come back looking like this.

And shooting like this. (10 shots at 30 yards during preliminary testing the first time it was there. )
