BSA brought out a side lever

Very nice looking rifle. BUT i'm on the fence about it as the side lever looks a little like an after thought to me. Not sure why side lever is such a big deal and upcharge, I really liked the bolt from the old Ultra SE. If anything I'm going to wait for the cheaper Gamo version which might show up in US stores before the BSA version at the current rate.

Im with you. I shoot bsa because of the bolt!

Im indifferent between the two, as long as it shots well Im happy. Only side lever that hasnt felt good to me was my Career Infinity which had too much play, that being said its accurate so I still have it.

At the end of the day it's good to see BSA is doing some R&D. They milked Bowkett's platform for years, hopefully both the bolt and side lever are good guns.

This is a gem and all barrels should be made like this one.

Bolt is fine.
