My original polygonal barrel is extremely accurate but I just wanted to see the difference.

I somehow sourced a BSA .25 blank from old stock and getting it installed.

I shall share the results when I shall get time.

Finally the machining of the BSA .25 old stock barrel completed.  I installed it and then indexed it at 6 O clock.

Its extremely accurate at 24 yards indoor range.

But the real test will be at 100 yards on some calm day.

I read somewhere that the Dutch were using the BSA Lonestar in .25 caliber for benchrest some years ago. It was claimed they are capable of outstanding accuracy at 100 meters. I do believe they would shoot tethered though. And I don't know what mods were done to the rifle. Interesting experiment. I'm looking on with great interest.
