Broken maximus bolt

You shouldn't have to pay for replacement bolt and handle. It should be covered under warranty. Happened to me too. The handle threads broke off inside of the bolt itself. Upgraded to a BNM multi shot breech with rear cocking handle and no problems since. Have the other with BNM multi shot side bolt breech on another but that one broke off as well so I put a threaded stainless steel allen screw in it and doing fine now.

Multi shot breech perked my ears up. Is that a hard install?

I would highly recommend the REAR COCKING BOLT BREECH and not the side cocking bolt breech based on first hand side by side comparison regarding ease of use and durability. I have the bull barrel shrouds fitted to them and they are super quiet, quieter with the bull barrel shroud than barrel with a TKO. If you would rather have it loud or use a TKO instead, you don't need the breech with the shroud option attached to it.

Then you would probably want to get yourself a GEN1 Marauder trigger 1763a105 from Crosman with Benjamin Trail trigger guard b180011a for around $50 and free ship on fridays. Be sure its a GEN1 and not a GEN2 trigger. You must use an old gift card cut to size to shim the trigger assembly or buy one for $13 to make it work properly.

I would just leave the pressure as is and fill to 2000psi and just refill after 25-30 shots since you would be running into safety issues as well as a major power curve including valve lock if you overfill it. I can tell you that it definitely won't be fun pumping it up from 2000 to 3000psi anyway. Power adjuster unnecessary which would eventually bend then wobble and break. Just set it to its most accurate speed with its favorite pellet and you're done. At 2000psi it has a manageable power curve.

Bummer. Yeah, I don't think you should sink any more dough into an inexpensive gun. It will end up being a money pit.

You should've called Crosman though. I bet they'd have sent it to you free, as you can't be the first one to have this problem. I bet they torqued it in too tightly, and stressed the metal.

I told you about the time the barrel on my Ruger Redhawk broke off, right? Turns out they'd applied the barrel thread lube on at the end of the previous day, and when they came in the next morning to torque it into the frame, it had dried and become ineffective. Result was that the steel was stressed so much that it broke off on me and went tumbling downrange. nd I'm thinking a similar thing happened here.
