Broken Hatsan 135

The bolt that the barrel pivots on sheared and half is still in the gun and I don’t have the tools to remove it. I bought the gun 8-9 months ago, put a half a tin of lead through it, and then life got in the way and it sat in my gun safe until today. On the sixth shot, snap!

Should i I send it back to Hatsan USA, or would I be better off sending it to an air gun smith?

I don't like the system they use but it works for the most part. You will need to fill out the service form on there website. They will email back with instructions. I've had warranty issues twice and both times they payed shipping both ways. If you need to speak with them they also have a phone number but they don't answer or return calls. They only correspond throu email it seems

Hi, I had the same problem with my Hatsan 135 that I bought 2 months ago. I emailed them and they sent me a new bolt this week, and I installed it by myself. The old bolt was broken apart, so it just dropped out from the forearm. However, I still feel that the gun does not shoot as accurate as before with open sights.

On mine half the bolt fell out with the other half still stuck in the threads.
