Brocock sniper xr.22

Hi Marko,

I've found that Air Arms pellets are consistently more accurate than JSB or H&N pellets in most of my air guns. I'm not sure what the difference is but I go with what works best for paper punching and hunting.

In both my Brocock's the Sniper XR Magnum in 25 and the Commander XR in 22 the H&N Baracuda's shoot lights out.

Hi

I only tried .177 Air arms 8.4 gr pellets and they were not as accurate as Jsb 8.4 gr pellets in 3 different rifles. But i only try those. I must get some .22cal and see how they perform.

Thanks for that info i wouldn't think of those since i already have Jsb's

18 gr. The 10 shot groups at 35 yards range from on big hole to all touching depending on how my day is going. I shoot with a tripod on the front and just holding the back with my shoulder. I don't have pics, don't compete, just pest hunt and shoot for fun. With my 22 I shot four rabbits in 30 minutes in my neighbors back yard. Aimed for the eye, all head shots, two in the eye, two within less than an inch out to 55 yards.

Hi @Blejda,

I love my Brocock guns, and my PCPs are now solely Brocock. I have the Sniper Safari XR in 25 cal, the Commander XR in 22 cal, the Concept XR in 177 cal, and the Atomix XR in 22 cal. I just love the no-nonsense designs and dependability. In my Commander XR I get about 60 shots at 46 ft-lbs (shooting JSB Monster RD). In my Sniper XR 25 cal, I also get about 60 shots per fill at 57 ft-lbs shooting JSB 33.95 gr.

Marko,

I like them all for different reasons, but if I had to keep only one it would definitely be the Sniper. I just love the way it holds and it is such a smooth shooter. 25 cal is probably my favorite caliber, so that may have something to do with it as well.

I would probably pick the same. Is this laminate? It sure looks awesome.

Do you maybe know if i could mount 30 mm tube scope with 50 mm objective on sniper using low rings?I would like to mount scope as low as possible.

It's the safari version. I don't see it on the AoA website, but I think you can call them to get that stock. (I had to.) It's the same style as the safari stock that you can get on the redwolf: https://www.airgunsofarizona.com/precharged-pcp/daystate-red-wolf-safari-high-power/  I find it very interesting, but I also really like the sniper laminate.

Yes, I have a 30mm tube with 50mm objective with low UTG-pro rings and this setup works great for me. Keep in mind that I also have the Pic rail attachments on top of the dovetail rails, so this adds a bit of height to the setup.
