New here, any brocock fans in here! Ive got some work done. External plenum, lightweight ssg hammer with peek striker/plunger, huma bottle reg, and some porting for now. Ive got some different tunes, accuracy tune is jsb heavy .25 34gr at 940fps. Holds moa at 100 most days. And a hunting tune with 43.5 nsa slugs at 900fps. I get 50 shots on the accuracy tune and only 20 on the hunting. Id love to see what other people have! Dialed back to 40ftlbs it gets a rediculous amount of shot with jsb 25gr.

Still collecting data for publication. Shooting 34 Grain JSB King Heavies and Nielsen 34 grain slugs I am getting great accuracy on a painted steel plate at 60 yards and about 40 regulated shots. No tuning has been done yet and no velocity measurements have been taken since I just got the adapter back a few days ago.

Man, that is a huge plenum... really cool... what made you go this route, are you hunting with it?

Mostly hunting! Ive got a few coyotes so far. The nsa slugs just flattened them. I was going to machine a plenum, but for 67$, the little baby tank worked great. If I pull the reg and lean on the hammer it will do 100fpe no prob but I like to switch between pellets and the shot count was horrible.

I found a really cool tune with this setup! Its a fun plinker tune. 145 bar reg, superlight hammer (20g) peak striker/plunger, 6mm stroke. It shoots a jsb 25gr king on the lowest power setting at 760fps and one hole at 40 yards. The best part is I shot 2 mags (20 rnds) and only dropped 10 bar! 200 shots on the reg is gonna be fun! 30 ftlbs is plenty for birds and ground squirrels around here.

After playing with this I doubled the stroke and shot 34gr right at 910 fps and zero hammer bounce. I think Im going to leave it alone for once. Its just butter smooth now, decent power and pretty effecient. Sure I could get more power but its just so sweet to shoot now. I may just get another one used and set it up similar but rebarrel it for strictly slugs.

Vmaxpro, I'm new to the Brocock Sniper Magnum. What kind of hammer setup is that? I am looking to increase the efficiency a bit on mine and I know you mentioned on another board about porting the ports. I am guessing the transfer ports from valve to barrel. With the hammer system you have and the ports done I would think it would be just what I am looking for. I don't think I am ready to go external plenum just yet but it would be great to see how you did it so I can in the future.

It seems like an ideal setup. Lots of power when you need it and great shot count when you don't.

Thanks,

Jeremy
