Brocock Bantam Sniper question

i am planning to buy a 22 caliber that can be adjusted externally but i want a solid not so expensive rifle.... the new Brocock came to my mind but i have a question, ¿the transfer port adjustment of the brocock bantam sniper is like FX ones (save air when power is low), or it is like Air Arms (only bring power down but doesn´t save air)?

any port flow restriction, even the AA will create whats called CHOKED flow...and therefore will save SOME air, some systems do it much more efficiently than others. If you get 40 shots @ max power you will DEFINITELY get an increase in shot count when significantly reducing the power by means of choked flow or reduced hammer weight or spring rating OR preload...my old neighbors AA 510 definitely saw more shots at reduced power levels via power wheel, its just that the power wheel doesn't reduce power significantly enough to see huge changes in shot count..IIRC

The valve duration is primarily based on hammer/spring..if that remains unchanged and you choke air flow that means the mass of air ejected will be less due to equal duration but less flow...

Further I believe fx power wheel is hammer spring adjustment and NOT tp restriction. On my marauder with a TP restriction I could significantly increase shot count when reducing power levels by 30-50%...

Some fx models have both power wheel AND tp adjustment, and the same logic/rules apply...hammer + spring = valve duration and porting = choked flow unless you're full bore...

Wrong!! Nope, doesn't work that way, same amount of air is expelled regardless, but deflected/ expelled through an exhaust port to accommodated FPS changes that benefit different weight pellets, you are welcome to shoot my Brococks/AA's through my chrony, at all power levels, as well as my Brococks, I reside in GA, NJ, & PA, and I am more than happy to accommodate you. Of course, this is based on the same Deviation on all power levels. Any increase on shot count will be very inconsistent to all other adjustments if you count more shots. If you are asking if an 18 ft lb 177 on high power yields an 70 shot count shot with an 133cc air tank with a 10 fps spread , and you want to drop the power to the 12 ft lb power level, you will get the same 70 shot count with the same Standard Deviation, that's as an actual owner AA. The AA does not restrict, it re-deflects air into an exhaust port. Don't believe the Fake News of non Owners, it it actually restricted air flow, shot count would increase I Agree, but when it deflects the same amount of air into 2 different ports, shot count remains the same.
