-- i was concerned that were more cheaply made in spain or something , too - especially at that price....but i found that although gamo bought bsa, they left bsa birmgham alone to do their thing... but who knows? the .22 bsa supersport magnum from the early 1980's was really cool (they had thick, fat , very adjustable triggers on the old school supersports , but i still havent messed with this $125 supersport... here's some data from bb about bsa (and gamo), but i couldnt find much on how bsa was affected after gamo buying them.. - paul. :

The original factory was destroyed by bombing during the period of August to November 1940. As a result they moved the operations to Marshall Lake Road, Shirley, Warwickshire from 1942 to 1964.
