Brand reputation

Bran of reputation, to me would be Edgun.

I have a few and being my favorite they have become my go to gun over the years. When the Leshiy 2 was announced it became a great interest to me. I jumped on board when pre-order became available, and feel fortunate to get on the first 100 list, knowingly there would be an extensive wait had I decided to wait for market availability.

Until now I would have never jumped on a pre-order regardless of make, especially at the price of the present Leshiy 2. I do have faith in the edgun brand, reason for getting on preorder list. Very much looking forward to this gun in the very near future, as tree squirrel and upland game season approaches.

Cheers

I’m exactly the same way as far as brands go. I see that there are many people that like JSB pellets. Honestly I have 18 air guns and none of them like JSB pellets. I’ve tried different weight sizes But only have one air gun that just shoots them OK. All my guns except for two of my pistols like H&N pellets the best. 16 air Rifles and two pistols. The two pistols like RWS the best.

I’m partial to Weihrauch barrels but don’t have any right now. I’ve been having good luck with Gamo barrels lately got 3 just in the past few months and a 4th should be coming soon. Not that they’re the best but for the price point I like them. I have different expectations for various brands more then a blind trust. I’m also prone to phases. In firearms I went through a Remington phase even though I had more experience that performed consistently better, I never had a Remington that fell below what I had expected from it. I like having consistency from a brand and am let down a bit or confused from inconsistencies. Like with Crosman guns, I’ve had some that did very well at the ranges I shot at and some not so much. Even though I had more on the good side then bad it was enough to make me not a huge fan. I am on the JSB bandwagon as I can usually find at least one that performs well, particularly RS. I will say I have a JSB RS fetish of sorts as I find them to be towards the top of my pellet choices for pellet fussy guns.

I just bought my first Weirauch HW 50 last week after doing a lot of research and was able to find a refurbished one at pyramid air and when I got it it was like brand new. I’m very happy with it. I heard about the hard cocking issues and the twanging. But mine is smooth as silk.I also was on a Remington kick for quite some years.I still have my 870 pump that I bought back in 1975 and still looks new after using it a lot. The only wear is on the tubular magazine where the pump slides. The bluing is Worn off there. But that is normal. I had a couple 700 bolt actions too.My 30-06 Was just about as accurate as a Match rifle.
