After three months wait I finally got my brand new HW35e. The guys at AoA got me a really nice one. Super stocked with the built quality and feel. Oh man I just love that vintage vibe it has going. I haven't been able to it shoot much but I'm getting nice results with the open sights at 10yards. Most definitively I will scope it soon so please feel free to recommend any scope/rings of your linking. It has a nice shooting cycle and the twang is not that bad. Very interesting, as noted in Steve's YouTube video the twang goes away with heavier pellets. Will shoot it as it is and maybe will have it tuned in the future.
As far as power, I was concerned that since I was coming from magnum springers, I was going to miss the power. Not the case. Based on AoA's chrony results and pellet weight it is just a hair under 12 lbs. I feel its more than adequate for what I do here at home. Cheers!
