Hey guys, this BP17 turned out so nice with the Donny FL adapter and a Shogun...I just had to share this pic!
Working on a video now...but the BP17 is hard to work with. The safety fell out day 1, then the air tank leaks overnight, also 3-5 of the extra mags I bought from PY Air don’t really fit in the gun. They don’t cycle and I had to use a sledge hammer to get them out a few times, it also shoots regular flyers. My AP16 can out shoot it at 35 and 50 yards. Hopefully the regulator will settle in soon,
This gun is like a beautiful girl. It is super high maintenance, it has some major issues, but it’s so good looking...I just don’t care.
I’ll send it in for repair once I’ve done 700 rounds though it. PY Air said I can’t return it because I waited over 30 days to call them. I told them I had an Airgun Channel and just opened the gun 2 days before. ...nothing... they said it was under warranty. Too bad Ataman doesn’t air up thier guns and let them sit for 2 weeks like Daystate and many other companies. ...it’s called quality control...I guess if you put a high enough price on something...there is no need to test it before it leaves the factory.
