Thanks Guys! I really appreciate the feedback and support. That's what keeps me doing these little videos for you all!"Rchr"Cool video. How far is that from where you live? Good shootin and good camera work.
Okay.... Hands down for hunting I prefer the SWFA! For the simple reason that it's a FFP scope and when I hit the magnification lever, my dope stays the same. Not to mention it's also a true Mil/Mil scope. With my hawke scopes I have missed shots due having the wrong magnification set from a previous shot or just bumping the adjustment by not paying attention. That being said it is nice to customize you mil dots by utilizing different magnifications with a SFP scope. The big reason I was turned on by the Swfa was the total Mil elevation it had, something like 36 Mils or like 129 inches of travel at 100 yards. My EdGun has I believe 30 MOA built into the rail and with the Hawke scope I was using at the time, I was just about bottomed out for my 50 yard zero. As anyone, I like my scopes to be closer to optical center. The Swfa was one of the few scopes that would agree with my setup. All in all I really like both scopes. Build quality goes to the Swfa, and Clarity is a toss up for my eyes. Accuracy on click value should go to the Swfa but to be honest, I have dialed the hell out of my sidewinder with excellent repeatability within my limits. That being said my next scope will probably be another Swfa! P.S. And when the Sh@t hits the fan I personally trust the Swfa over the Hawke. It's a better battle optic... Period! Just saying"Dave"Nice video! Looks like you and the matador had a lot of fun. I would like to hear your thoughts on the swfa ss scope. I am deciding between 3-15 swfa ss or a hawke sidewinder 6-24
