Boy are you in for a treat with the upcoming RDW!

I just pulled this off of AEAC's facebook page https://www.facebook.com/hookedonair/

"Review-Discuss-WIN goes uptown with the Air Arms Galahad Carbine .22 HR. Fuse an elegant, hard hitting bullpup with a regulated Air Arms action and you've a recipee for airgunner Arcadia. Partners JSB Match DiaboloSplatterburst Targets LLC., and Sportsmatch UK Ltd. spice things up with their own winner contributions. Keep an eye to AEAC & Airgun Nation for upcoming details on the contest & giveaway. Until then, enjoy these pics with commentary. Video coming soon. **Kral RDW rescheduled for June."

Sportmatch Rings U.K., Splatterburst Targets, and JSB/Predator International are also contributing prizes to the winner.

Paddle cocking lever pushes down & forward and keeps the shooter "on the gun" when cycling the magazine. It's also reversible to the other side for lefties.

Q-Tec silencer & shroud around a Lothar Walther barrel ensure accuracy and stealth.

Low profile recessed bipod slide is nice touch. I tested the Galahad with the Atlas bipod and it's pellet on pellet at 25.

Clever anti cant bubble level is placed smartly in plain view of the shooter.

5 way detent power selector allows the shooter to control noise & power output for increased flexibility in the field. Full burn gets ya 29 fpe in .22 and as little as 5 fpe set to low.

The shorter "Carbine" is 32" long, weighs 11.6 lbs shoot ready, and in HR trim comes with a regulator and plenty of power.

Michael's not kidding.

The more time I spend with this gun, the more it impresses. For example, check out that trigger linkage! It's a beast!! All that meat translates into a non-bullpup feel at the blade.

Here's a little something I haven't shared before. This is a test I like to run on any adjustable power review gun I receive to look for patterns of accuracy through the adjustment range, and across some of the better shooting pellets out there. JSB Pellet weight is listed across the top and power level setting is listed down the left side. The speed/pellet combos that the Galahad Carbine likes best are circled in green highlighter.

Before I make recommendations on video day, I like to confirm preferences with 30 shot (yes thirty shot) groups to see if I can get the barrel to throw the bad pellets. Here's a 30 shot, power level-4 group with the 15.89 JSB at 25 yards... all on one charge too. I couldn't get it to throw a bad pellet and there were some funky ones mixed in there.

I spent the day making shot charts across power levels 2,3,4,5 and discovered it likes Predator GTO's on full burn too. Fun!
