How do you guys feel about the large stand out Engraved manufacturers name and model on the receiver and stocks that are on most precision airguns? It seems that airguns have it large and proud and powder guns are subtle with muted small print.

Actually I was referring to the manufacturer's name that the gun comes with. Not personalized. I will edit my post to clarify.

I never really thought about it too much....but I guess it doesnt bother me on my wolverine b. All it really says is wolverine on the action and daystate under the forend. I guess it would bother me if it was intrusive/big.

My Marauders and my CZ s200 don't bother me a bit-I would probably hate the way the Hatsan PCPs are engraved in giant letters if I had one. I have a hunch the ground squirrels would not care either way!

I like to leave'em on my guns, especially the old ones. Helps with identifying age, etc.

I've noticed that low volume manufacturers all have their name bigger than life on the sides. High volume ones are rather muted it seams.

Flashy logos on airguns rub me the wrong way, much like "tactical" styling and badass-sounding names.
