I have a .30 FX Bobcat MK2, and use the DonnyFL adaptor with a DonnyFL Ronin. Very quiet, but it is longer. I've wanted to try the DonnyFL Koi with the FX threads so it doesn't need an adaptor and will not be much longer than stock, but haven't done that. I think you can get the Koi with the M20 threads and .30 cal bore...

I've had a Mk2 Bobcat .25 almost a year, I have a Mk1 Wildcat .25 and it is much louder than the Bobcat on high power, I shoot on low power quite often in backyard, (660 fps JSB .25's) it is very very quiet with the three sections, on high power it is quieter with the 33.95 's than the 25's by quite a bit. I informal target shoot mostly this Bobcat is the most consistent and accurate gun I have ever owned, and I have shot the best groups of my life with it, there is so much new stuff available now is doesn't get the recognition it deserves, it's a little heavy to shoot off hand or sitting and the counter sunk hole for the stock attachment screw "digs" into my right thumb knuckle during long shooting sessions. I'm a big fan of the Wildcat, but the high shot count (90 high, 160 low) and the power adjuster I favor over the WC. POI from high to low, 20 clicks dead low, and just as accurate on low as high power, I posted a "one hole" five shot group sitting a while back, 50yd bug holes are easy. Bobcats are great guns make sure you try all the

JSB's, all shoot great in mine.

I would wait until you have it and see if it's too loud without anything extra. Noise level is subjective, and we all have different yards/shooting lanes and neighbors. Also you can turn the power down to its lowest setting for super quiet backyard plinking, then turn it back up when you get in the field. I personally would go that route. That said, the volume of the mod not the length, is by far the bigger variable when considering how much noise difference there will be. I have a bored out tanto on my .30 Mk2 Bobcat as it gave me the most volume in the shortest package. On top of that the design lines of the tanto match up great with the stock and the diameter is almost exact same as the air tube, so it looks like it belongs.
