Bit confused about a pcp under $500

Who says that there's no Kral parts available,...that has been debunked already

Really? That will open up some doors for me, thanks! Where would you get parts?

One nitwit said they don't have parts avaliable and he was quickly proven wrong.

Go to Pyramid Air's website and type in Kral then click accessories.. They seem to have plenty parts available. This is copied from Pyramid's website.

Kral also sells a complete line of accessories for their air rifles and pellet guns, including parts, stocks & grips, mags, clips, speedloaders and pellet holders. Your Pyramyd Air specialist can help you choose the Kral Arms airgun that's right for you!

Glad to see mature name calling here. So if there is an issue with a Krale gun you have to buy parts to fix it? Hope one day they setup factory support center like crosman so they can address any issues people who buy their guns would have. My policy is no factory support then no business from me.

ever wonder about why they won’t have a US service center?

When you give incorrect information simply due to bias, I feel the name calling is acceptable. I did not call him out by name, but he knows who he is.

Does Taipan have a service center? Nope. Have you ever tried to call or email them? Did you get a response? I never did.

Do you NEED a service center for an air gun? Most people can change an o-ring or valve.

Crosman has a service center but they deal directly with the public. That is a completely different business model than pretty much every other air gun manufacturer.

FX started a service center when they broke up with AOA but I think that was out of necessity because no other company would deal with the amount of returns that FX has.

AOA is the service center for Daystate. Pyramid is the service center for Air Arms. I would assume Pyramid also services Kral, but I have not verified that. I will send them an Email tomorrow and post their response, so we get the correct information and not information based on bias or assumptions.

Man I’ve got two Kral guns and will have more in the future. The only thing I’ve HAD to replace after thousands of pellets and being banged around by three boys under ten is a couple o-rings. Buy Kral and don’t look back, they can grow with you pretty easy.

PS. My dad and brother both have marauders. It’s agreed on in the family that I’ve got the better guns. They are great and quieter, but the two I have experience with don’t quite keep up.

bias? Do they have factory support center that is not a shop aka busy selling things to pay bills? You personally pointed out the fact the answer to that is no so how is that a bias? Yes, it is my opinion that I would only purchase airguns with factory service center because I tried most brands of airguns by now and they all have some sort issues. although mostly very minor it still is complete pain to get small parts for them. Have you sent the whole gun to AOA or Pyramid multiple time on your dime to get guns fixed?

I’ve said many times before it’s your money and spend it however you want but when someone is newer in the hobby I feel it is necessary to point out the facts. They can decide if they want to take the risk.

Thanks, and I don't want to take those risks, I prefer to have good customer service, not so much a warranty, but someone that will answer the damn phone. And help me resolve a issue I have with their product.

I want to buy once, and I would like it known to myself that I bought quality that will last for a while. I have only one pellet rifle right now, but I know that it will last a pretty much trouble free, but if not, I know i can get parts that are readily available for a HW95.

Thanks, try not to get personal with one another, poop happens, we all make mistakes, and opinions vary. Its hard, believe me, I know.

I have a Kral NP03 in 22 and is an great gun for the $! Its very accurate, compact and light. Like others have said you can get parts for them. If you can't find them through one of the big air gun stores you can hit up Troy Hammer he could get any part you'll need. If you want to get into learning how to tune a gun with a regulator then the Avenger hands down would be the way to go. Place your preorder for a Avenger bullpup and Im sure you'll enjoy that one as well. So many guns, so little time 😁 Good luck!!!

It wasn't a justification it was a statement. I don't justify myself to people that don't matter to me.

So, you are saying you would never buy a Daystate, Air Arms, EdGun, Kalibr, Weihraucht? Maybe we should call them and ask why they do not have their own service centers here in the US. Other than Air Arms I doubt you will get anyone to talk to you.

Have you ever owned a Kral?

Yea they did say that they got it from Kral, but I can’t find anywhere on their site where you would add to cart.

more that i look at the Avenger youtubes, the more I’m! Scratching my head

Kral Arms is the manufacturer. You can buy Kral Arms guns from Krale (with an e) in the Netherlands.

https://www.krale.shop/us/kral-arms-puncher-empire-x/

And by the way Crosman has and sells parts for their Craftsman guns.

As best I can tell from their site, Kral does not sell direct. And yes Krale does carry the brand, and I saw no restriction on US sales. Kral seems to be an impressive company with solid products. I'm sure their air rifles are good, but I think I prefer the trigger and tuning features of the Marauder. I haven't shot any of them, so I might have a different opinion with some hands-on experience.

Thank you, I have bought past guns from Krale. The Kral’s they have, some are past models, some are models that can’t be bought in the US.

I wish I was able to get a German made gun, there is a new Walther reign out, but I cant find it being sold anywhere that i could purchase it.

The Marauder has came and went numerous times, just a plain synthetic with a LW barrel puts me in the $630 range. That would put able to get Puncher Mega 2, Empire X, Cayden.

So i think I will just wait for somebody to list in the classifieds, that way maybe i can get a gun made outside of Turkey.

I have a 25 caliber synthetic Avenger. It is accurate but not more accurate than my Prod and my P35 is getting there. I think a lot of PCPs can be very accurate once you find the right projectile and tune. The synthetic stock on the rifle is not great. It's in three pieces. A clamshell over the front and a more normal stock, kind of like a shotgun stock, in the back. I had to replace the sear engagement screw (put in a longer one) to get a decent trigger pull. But that is cheap and simple. The adjustment screws did not do much on mine. My Avenger leaked when I got it but Air Venturi fixed it under warranty. I was only out the transportation to send it in. I put a donnyfl adapter on and a home made moderator which I just noticed has started clipping. Mine is well over 100 db without a moderator - not at all backyard friendly in my opinion.

The Avenger bullpup looks interesting but not to me since I shoot from the left shoulder. The cocking lever is way in the back and would be in my face. Even for a right handed shooter a forward cocking level is handier, I think. But they reportedly used better plastic in the stock.

I think it is a very viable option in your price range but I would price in a donnyfl adapter and a moderator, unless you only want to shoot at a range or other area without noise considerations.

My P35 (Artemis or Snow Peak) is much quieter and a little lighter and has a forward cocking lever and a flush magazine. It is also under $500. It is regulated but you have to disassemble the front of the air tube to get to the adjustment screw - not nearly as handy. There is also no gauge on the regulated chamber. But it's 5.2 lbs and less than 30 inches long. With the stock baffles I measured it at 85db at 15 feet. With a $1.33 mod involving hair curlers and felt I have it at 75 db now and could get it under 70 if I wanted it there. Much more backyard friendly. But you have to buy it from Krale in the Netherlands and there is no warranty, just a full set of tools and seals. The scope has to be mounted quite high - normal for a bullpup I think - which means holdover at short ranges. I've missed a few squirrels getting used to that. It may be cheaper than the Avenger if you price in the moderator and adapter to the Avenger like I think you should.

correct, I bought my PP700 from Krale and showed up in 3 days. It was great……till second PP700 had some minor issues(breach sea). Krale was nice and offered an exchange, only catch is I need to send it to Netherlands on my dime and it was over 1/4 of the cost of the gun to ship back so lessons learned from that experience and no more buying from Krale for me!

since all the Turkey crosman guns are all under warranty you do NOT need to buy parts. You can send the gun in on your dime to get it fix on east coast or find the part number on the exploded diagrams on their website and they will send you new parts in 3-5 days FREE of charge. I’ve used the warranty a few time even on second hand guns, they sent me parts with only the serial number to see when the gun was made. If I ever decide to buy a made in Turkey gun it will be a crosman for this exact reason! IF you ordered the gun directly from crosman website which HiGHLY RECOMMENDED then they will send you a prepaid shipping label to get the gun fixed and returned to you free of charge if you have issues. Yes, I’ve used that too and it was awesome.

sadly my warranty policy requirement limits me to literally just crosman and FX guns but I’ll manage to live. I have lost count the number of times I added a L2 in the cart but could not press the order button!😔😆😅

I did not think this way at first but after messing with my PCPs for a couple years I think that replacing O-rings is not something that justifies even the domestic shipping cost of returning an air rifle (I think it cost me $30 to send my Avenger back to AV and it took 5 weeks to get it back). I found Crossman service to be excellent when I wanted a few extras for my Prod but they don't currently offer a bullpup I can shoot (I shoot from my left shoulder) except the 357 which I didn't want next. I like some of the Kral and other Turkish rifles except for the weight. We all have to decide which attributes are most important but I decided warranty was not extremely important because I am capable of changing out O-rings - the most likely required "repair". My P35 came with a full set of replacements and tools. That is working out well for me. I may buy a 22 to go with my 25 if Krale ever gets them back in stock.

I can change things, like you said. But the biggest to me is that you buy something, and it wont take air or it leaks, or wont cock, etc. That is the reason I will NEVER mess with Hatsan again. Gamo break barrels either, Benjamin 392.

I had a Uragan, and a Dreamline classic. But I just couldnt see that much money, for what? Shooting paper?

just have to decide on the purpose, and if i want to drag a bottle or compressor with. I’m contemplating getting a recurve crossbow. Their like a break barrel, rifle and pellets, Bow and arrows,

what does anyone think about this ? i have no personal experience , just read a review

AEA HP SS SEMI-AUTO AIR PISTOL .22, .25 AND .30 CALIBER WITH TAKEDOWN FOLDING STOCK

  • Regular price$499.00

Under no circumstances do you want an AEA gun if you have any concerns whatsoever about being able to do any repairs. Just take this off of your list completely and entirely and your be all the more better if you do so.

Take a look at my review here:

+1!

I bought 2 different AEA front Bing/eBay. One has many issues so returned it but Bing is very good about it. Second one got sent with the wrong barrel and took 5 months to send the replacement barrel which leads me to believe they don’t stock any parts at all. When they work they are pretty good all things considered but if there is any issues your wait for things to get fixed might be a long while depending on the issue and parts availability(lack of).
