What would be the best way to mount a bipod to a stock via pic rail. I have a 25 cal cricket with a wood stock. Would I just use short wood screw?

For wood stock screws are best , mark where you want the rail take action from the stock, drill pilot holes little bit smaller then size of the screw (Practice on scrap of wood if you didn't do it before) and then attach the rail. If screws stick out from other side use a file to grind them down.
