Bipod for Wildcat Sniper

The plastic MagPul MOE work great because they don't have the Mlok or keytabs just flat. I like Accutech bipods....I have the wide one for bench shooting and a much smaller lighter one for my hunting rifle...I want a bipod that cants for uneven ground so I can get the scope level in the center. There are a lot of good bipods out there that cost less than $100.00, but I like the accutech the best out of all the bipods I have used.

I’ve put pic rails on a few wildcats. This is the correct pic rail you’ll need as the back side is radiused that matches up with the radius on the wildcat stock-

and fasten it correctly. DO NOT just grab any screw and just screw it inyo that synthetic stock. It will fail, guaranteed. Instead, use these tee nuts-

You will need a 7/8” paddle bit and some two part epoxy like JB weld. The pic rail has a quick disconnect hole also for using a QD sling. You can YouTube install instructions on the atlas pic rail with the atlas fastener kit

I used something similar to this one and have been very satisfied. Solid for both my Atlas and Accu-tac bipods. Make sure to drill out the inside of the stock to get a solid purchase on the mount whatever you buy. Is the correct term counter sunk? . Prevents slippage. I used some Ace Hardware washers on the inside..

What bipod you buy is really like what shoes you like. I'd recommend the Atlas because it's easier for me to open and close the leg angles than Accu-tac. For the record I do own and like Accu-tac as well. But when it comes to field shooting I prefer the Atlas brand most of the time because it's easier to change leg angles with the push of a button as opposed to pulling down on the Accu-tac spring loaded legs. My Accu-tac has the big swivel and is more suited to bench or fast moving targets, plus it's much heavier.

Do your research to find out what you want in the long run and don't be in a hurry to purchase something you regret.

My Accu-tac is this one

The one I recommend for the Wildcat is the Atlas below

This is exactly how I did it on my Wildcat. Take your time, and make sure the radius of the rail lines up exactly with the radius of the stock and in line with the trigger guard. Comes out great. There's a video on Youtube as well somewhere.
