• Parkerized the main tube, folding stock, and rear trigger housing.
• Cerakoted over the parkerizing on the main tube.
• Fashioned a system that captures the pin that holds the trigger housing to the main tube, since it always had a tendency to walk out during firing. Capturing plate seen just ahead of the rear sight on the left side.
• Bead blasted the stainless LW barrel (plugged bore to protect crown)

Gun shot 510 fps before rebuild to just over 750 fps after rebuild with H&N 7.56 grain pellets.

Got everything set out for grouping at 25yds a few minutes ago and a rainband moved in. Will give her another go when that passes over.

Going to chronograph again. The 35 coil spring gave commendable velocity, but was harsh and hold sensitive. Cut 3 coils off last night. Still groups well (have only tested at 10yds) and is much less twangy now. I suspect it will be slower too.

OK the now 32 coil spring (down from 35) shoots H&N 7.56 gr pellets at 735 fps... down from 751 fps.
Oddly it shoots the 9.8 gr Beeman Ram Jets much slower than the 10.34 JSB Exact Heavies... 535fps vs 595 fps. Can only attribute that to the much tighter and harder alloy of the slower LIGHTER Beemans.

Got a break in the rain long enough to shoot a 16 shot string at 25 yds... then it started raining again.
