BIG NEW VALVE FOR M-ROD!

I know he has been developing the valve for a long time. Have you seen any numbers yet? The exhaust port looks huge!! Doesn't look to be a simple drop in as the airtube, breech, and barrel would need opened up to utilize that huge exhaust port.

He got 300 fpe out of a Disco with a longer airtube, and a 3300 lb fill. This could be interesting.

300 fpe? Shooting what kind of projectile? I just ran a calculation. Using a 32.4 gr Eunjin shooting at 1500 fps would only give you 162 fpe. That's the heaviest pellet I know of. You would need an oval transfer port just so the pellet didn't fall into it from being so large, and a longer probe. What was it converted to 357 cal for one shot?

Don builds big bores for hunting from the discovery platform. 300fpe was probably .357, 45, etc. I have spoke with Don a number of times and he is a heck of a gentleman and knows how to make power!! I am sure the new marauder valve is geared towards custom big bore marauder builds and high power bullet shooting .25's. I have a 22" TJ .250 barrel and a .25 marauder I rarely shoot anymore. Might give this valve a try?

Don seems to give folks the maximum rating, that being with whatever get the max. His shotgun ( discovery based) gets abouve 300fpe - I believe- and naturally the rating mentioned for the marauder is not for a .177. His valve will make those interested in making a .30 marauder , even a .45 or smooth bore and if one could live with a muzzle loader it could be a very easy low cost build. And his discovery valve is unlike pretty much any other valve I have ever seen. And they are very adjustable.
SO glad I already have all the airguns a person could ever need. 
Don does do excellent work, I've seen a lot of his work and spoken with a lot of other customers of his, never a complaint.

Hi 30 cal as described to me a.357 with a 30" barrel shooting a 150 grain, two full power shots with a weaker third. The valve was able to be detuned to something like 1400-1500 fps with a .22 pellet. He has created some great aftermarket stainless Crosman parts, not everything is power crazy. He's a very talented machinist
