For 90% of my pesting pellets (JSB) at 930 FPS are best. But for some shots a slug would be better. So is there a slug that could work in an Edgun R3 .25 shooting JSBs at 930 FPS? I think I know the answer but thought I would ask anyway.
I agree with Motorhead. I would look for a slug that was close in weight to your preferred pellet and start testing. NSA has a varied selection of slug weights.
Try the NSA 26.8 grain HB DB. With the JSB Kings or Heavies are you shooting 930 FPS? The 26.8 will shoot about 875 or so if you shoot Kings at 930, and will shoot the slugs at about 1025 or so if you shoot heavies at 930 FPS. I shoot the 26.8 out of my R5 at 1025 and they are accurate at that speed. Haven't tried them down at 875 FPS...
