F x revalutipn ithink evanix did away with it not much to choose from ..u be better off ttying tto borrow one within a month you will be sick of it. If not id get Fx cause the single shot part u no will be good ..its a fx

I second your opinion, I absolutely love my H5. The only thing I would change is a higher capacity magazine. 5 shots goes by soooo quick!

I got to shoot Michael's H5 and loved it so much that I bought one for myself. It's very accurate and has a great feel to it when it fires a pellet.

+2 on the.hunting 5. just received my Scout (carbine) .22 yesterday. The action cycles like a swiss watch. 27fpe.

no the styre hunting 5 auto is not heavy.
And the carbine version (scout) that I have, is only 6.5 lbs, and 35" long. Mine weighs 7.2 pounds with the scope mounted.

Nice & you can keep the scope close to the bore, due to the flat mag. That weigh is not bad, not sure why I always thought they was 9 pounders. So can you tune them to higher powers? Like 35 FPE? I might have to add this to the list.

The highest power available is 40 joules with the .22 cal. I'm getting 27fpe using JSB 15.9gr pellets.
that's 878fps. About 55 shots per fill. More with the long version. Plenty of power for hunting small game, and for target shooting out to 70 yards.

I heard that in America the Steyr Auto 5 will soon be available with permanent attached moderator. I would like to get one, but want a lil more energy.

I have not tinkered with my power because a wise tuner told me that increasing the power will only lead to malfunctions.
