I have seen several photos of pellet pouches on the forum, and some on eBay but I have not seen any that come close to the quality I make. These have a 6” opening and about 4” deep. They will easily hold more that a tin of pellets. These are made of soft oil tan leather. Many of you know me and perhaps carry some of my wallets. I’ve been reluctant to post anything on the forum because I’m currently working with AOA to bring these to market. I do make a custom tooled version of the above pouch. I will be donating two of the fancy pouches at the EBR auction. So make arrangements to attend EBR in October and I look forward to seeing all of you.

Chuck

I use one of Chucks prototype pouches have mink oiled it to my perfection and I do use lubed pellets. It is very gentle on the lead and I now have my pellet lube somewhat soaked into the inside leather. Best pouch produced in the world presently because I have three Beeman pouches two black and one from 1970's that is tan. Chucks is better!

Bubbler three of us tested for size meaning getting your hands into it easily and holding a tin of pellets snugly and your mags if needed but as small as possible as not to interfere while you have your gun slung and rangefinder and also binos on you walking in field. The premade metal frames are made to size and changing the dimensions would alter the frames closing tensions. If you like a pouch this is nice as it gets.

BB64, the spring that opens the pouch would have to be so altered that I’m not sure they would still work. The frame comes 8” long and that’s just too long. I cut them down to 7” and made a few pouches, then cut down to 6”. Why 3”? Let me know what you are thinking.

Monkeyshine has helped me cut these frames down and there are lots of moving parts but perhaps a different type of opener will work. Making one 3” is easy enough but would require a different opener.

Not a pellet pouch by all means, but if the stock on your rifle is standard like say on a rainstorm2, and your gun uses mags, this is what I put on my Synrod, along with the majority of my centerfire rifles. It’s Midway’s own brand, and sells for around $16. The padded comb is so very slight, and the main reason I use these is for the zippered pouch on the side opposite the cheek. I can hold 4 pre filled Marauder magazines easily, along with a couple Allen wrenches for tuning.

When I used my Beeman RX2 gas ram springer for years, my pellet pouch was a plain black leather fanny pack. Holds a whole tin or two of pellets, and another zippered area held my squirrel calls. Made for a perfect grab and go kind of thing.

Toku58, I have bought that pouch from the fellow up north but it was to large meant for sunglasses that is why Chuck makes it six inch with much more heavy leather. Cut that leather from that frame and modified frame then Chuck pUT his high quality leather on. It will work but not Misenheimer quality.

Yeah it is a bit larger than I want, but for $28 shipped vs $99 + Shipping??

For an item I will seldom use. I couldn't justify the additional $60+$$ for a pouch that was an inch or two smaller..
I'd gladly pay $40 because it seems very well made. Also if he could make it 4-5" that would be even better!

Sorry no offense! I'm sure Misenheimer quality is top notch!

But for me the Ebay pouch works Great!
