Best "good" Range Finder

Hello I had just bought a Vortex ranger 1000 range finder ,only had it for about 3 weeks but so far so good. Much nicer than the Bushnell one I used but by far the nicest I have used have been the Leica geovid 10x42 but can not justify the price of the Leica. The Vortex is very easy to use, auto shutoff, and preset with angle/yard from the factory, just put in battery and point ,press, and range, very happy with it. Hope this helps Eric

I have the Athlon Midas, very nice, good for 1 mile. If you can access Expert Voice (military, police, firefighter, first responder) you can get it for a very good price. Its much better than the standard Bushnell one that I had been using...

Same as Steve 😁😁😁(sorry Mike, have to do it, last time, I promise) I got Athlon Midas to replace my 10+ years old Nikon, and it's a big improvement.

I own multiple rangefinders...

The Leica has great optics ... only complaint is that it uses lots of power and doesn’t adjust for angle. It ranges through windshields pretty well... which comes in handy.

nikon black 4K

Very nice optics and ranges to a mile. My current favorite. Ranges through windshields nicely. Bizarre ... but this rangefinder stops working properly indoors at night under fluorescent lights in the large barns where I hunt starlings. Go figure

sig kilo 1000 very small form factor... ok optics works great indoors and is my typical backup. Doesn’t range through glass

In my area, the pigeons at longer ranges don't like my Bushnell Scout 1000 DX ARC

because when they sit on some telephone wire at 62 yards, I KNOW they are 62 yards away.

And soon my Strelok Pro knows it, too.

And after Strelok Pro finds out, it usually isn't before long that the pigeons finds out.

It's usually the last thing they find out this side of Pigeon Paradise.*

I realize Burris has discontinuedthe Bushnell Scout 1000 DX ARC.....

I'd love to buy another one, as replacement for when mine breaks!
