Best break barrel for fun!!!!!

Beeman R7 (HW30). I have a pair, one in .177 I just got 2 weeks or so ago and one in .20. Both will easily take squirrels out to the 30ish yards I have for a back yard. Also have a Beeman R9 .20 and an HW95 .22 that are just as fun to shoot and give me more power if I need it.

I have an HW95, HW30S and Walther LGV Competition Ultra. Love all of them. The Walther is extremely accurate and the HW95 is very accurate on distances up to 100m with in reason. HW30 is very light to carry around and also very accurate.

I shoot an HW30s and R7 the most, and an older R9 when I need more power, but I shoot in the back yard (25 yards) and the R9 is almost too powerful for the back yard. 

Flying Dragons Air Rifles XS25S. A break barrel springer. In 22cal it will throw an 18gr pellet between 600 and 620 fps. It's an accurate shooting R-34 clone.It's no family heirloom so a nick here or there won't make you wince. A Mike Melick tune is a small price to pay to turn this rifle into a kick-a$$ break barrel for fun and a go to for pest control management. And it don't cost near that of the above mentioned air arms proffered above,no offense.

I had the hw30, all the premium craftsmanship. Very light and easy to shoot and carry.

but, it was so light, it felt like a toy. Wish I would of went with the 50, prob would still have it.

R7...why not?

Beeman R7, or HW30s (same gun) are tops if light power and ease of cocking are more important. R9 if you want a larger version with more power. I shoot the HW30s/R7 twice as much as the R9, but they are all great, and a lot of fun.

I agree with the HW 30/R7 for all around fun, and HW 95 for more power.

BUT...for a gun that is kinda between those two power and behavior-wise, with a dose of solid old-world coolness tossed in, consider the classic HW 35. I can't add anything to this recent post on another forum - it's the most thoughtful and well-written assessment of that timeless rifle design that I've ever seen:
