Benjamin Wildfire still a leaky rifle?

I bought one over a year ago after reading reviews even. Yes mine was a Leaker.I already knew about the heavy trigger pull and was expecting that. But I was hoping that it wouldn’t leak, and it did. I sent it back and got my money back. It wasn’t a bad shooting gun once you got used to the trigger. Can’t say if they fixed the issue of it leaking or not.

Thank you for the replies. Still looking to see if anyone had a answer to the fix the gun?

Crosman 5 year warranty is the perfect answer.

If it's typical and minor leak then degass the gun and wrap Teflon tape on the manometer threads the correct way so it goes with tightening when you thread it back on.

OR! If it's the fill connector when you do the double blow up balloon rubber banned to the end of the filler and another at end of barrel trick (hopefully barrel balloon doesn't fill up then SOL 5 year warranty time) degass then clean inside fill check valve parts don't lose anything and use silicone divers grease real good. Consistency of Vaseline.

I had a leaker. Fought with LG Outdoors (I will never purchase from that company again) for 2 weeks over a refund. Never happened even after getting Amazon involved. I kept the gun and told LG that I would get plenty of mileage out of bad mouthing them (which I did- they finally offered my a 90% refund if I sent the gun back postage paid and insured). I still kept the gun and contacted crosman. They were WONDERFUL!!!! Offered a replacement if I paid postage and returned the original. I asked about fixing the gun. A tech got on the phone and told me the issue was at the Foster connector. He told me I could try to wrap a bit of Teflon tape around the connector and it would not void the warranty as long as I did not damage the connector. I tackled it myself. When I removed the connector I found some metal shavings (from threading the air tube I presume), had stopped the check valve from closing and dealing completely. I cleaned it all up and wrap a single layer of Teflon around the connector. Leak solved! It is still a horrible trigger pull and not the most accurate (90% of accuracy issues are due to that trigger). It is fun to shot as far as a plinker goes, but overall it barely gets used anymore. I keep it around for no other reason than to have an extra gun when family comes over to shoot.

I already said that mine leaked also. Since I bought it on eBay from a sporting goods store, I just sent it back. But now that I hear these replies, I think mine might’ve been the check valve also. Every time I went to fill It up, I could hear it clicking inside. And it would click multiple times throughout the fill. And it sounded like it was coming from Foster Fill area.

If you want to shoot a semi automatic which isn’t a true semi automatic just like the wildfire,Try the Umarex Ruger 1022 . I don’t even remember if that’s the true name and don’t care but it is a clone of the Ruger 1022. That trigger is way harder than the wild fire. Except you can Shoot it in single action also and then the trigger isn’t half bad.
