Benjamin trail np 2 22 Cal stock, no mods as is out of box

First let me say this is my first spring or in this case gas piston rifle so it really gave me fits trying to zero it in. After going back to the drawing board and searching YouTube I figured out my problem was that you cannot hold these kinds of air rifles like you do with compressed air rifles.

So I went back out set up on a 50 yard target and using an open brace hold narrowed my grouping to about 3 inches. This was with pointed pellets, on a wim I got some Benjamin hollow points 17 gram I believe and discovered my grouping actually closed in with multiple stacked shots.

two weeks ago I had my washing machine nose dive on me and so in good fashion decided to see how well it would hold up as a backstop for my targets. I was amazed to discover 60% of my shots actually punched holes into the side of the machine at 30 yards not sure what the thickness is of the metal but it's not wimpy at all.
took it out for a good test with turtles that are infesting my friends bass pond and sunk more that my fair share.
for the power its fairly quite though it does have a crack even with the suppression
the trigger does have a final stage adjustment but the gun does not have an auto safety lock, that is to say the safety does not lock in when you cock the rifle. So I left mine a little stiff just for safety
I am not a wimpy guy I throw 150 pound tarps around at work, draw a 60 pound bow, and rope cock a 175 pound ten point crossbow, that being said cocking the gun while sitting or laying isn't easy it does take some umph to get it done.

the scope that comes with the np 2 may not be top of line but it has some really good low light visability in fact I have night hunted with nothing but full moon and it did surprising well.

I haven't tried shooting over 50 yards with it yet but with the grouping I am getting at 50 I would say it will not have much problems at 75

The silencer is nothing but a plastic baffle tube screwed to the end of the barrel so I would advise not cocking the rifle by the very end, instead stay about 4 inches back from it.

I do like the np, but as said it is not a bench rest gun, or at least I haven't had any luck as such.
The artillery hold is about the only way your going to get a good group.
i will say that training wise it's most likely a good platform due to the fact it's so unforgiving to difference
In stance.
being a Bow shooter has helped me a lot because it to is all about proper hold and stance.

i really want to get a good pcp (I dream about the air force Texan) but if I got it right now I would most likely be sleeping with it because I would NOT be sleeping with my wife.
