Was just shooting with my neighbor and his prowler this evening. We figured a few things out over the past few weeks. Shot with the scope that came with it first, was ok to break it in but nothing special. We were shooting mostly Crosman pellets as they were what were available in town. Then he picked up a BSA Sweet 17 scope for it, shot better while it lasted then we were always having to adjust it to zero it back in. Though the red tip pellets did shot pretty decent with it. We still knew it could perform better. He ordered a Mantis scope from Pyramid Air along with some heavier pellets, some JSB Diabolo 15.8 and H&N Baracuda 18.5. What a difference the scope and heavier pellets made. I know he put over 300 shots with the Mantis scope and no issues so far. It seems to like the heavier pellets we were stacking at 16 yards, our limit in the back yard, until it got to dark to shoot anymore. The heavier Diabolo's shot a little higher, but one mil dot down and back on target. Feed it what it likes and you will be surprised for the price of this gun. Can't wait to extent it's range and see what it does. Now I might have to get a scope for my Diana 34P and dial it in, even though the open sights are kicking ass for now.
