Okay, all of a sudden I am bitten by the air rifle bug. I just acquired a Benjamin NPS in .177 from a friend of mine for $50!!! I do not think it is a "Trail" model, but it does have the rubber cheekpiece and "carbon fiber" stock. It came with an assortment of pellets (RWS, Gamo, Skenco... etc) but not a tremendous amount of each. Maybe 20 rounds. It also came with a CP 3x9 on a one piece mount. I am quite sure it was a package when bought originally.
First impressions, (I have not sighted it in yet)... MUCH better trigger than my Gamo Whisper G2. It is quieter than the G2 as well, but it is noticeably heavier...
Okay, so for the sake of time and lack of ammo, to you guys that own these rifles, what pellets shoot best in yours? This is my first .177, thanks!!! OH,,, this rifle has MAYBE 20 pellets through it and looks as new...
