Benjamin Maurader leaking air

The marauders are surprisingly easy to work on. Hell even I figured it out! ( lol ) I stripped mine and installed some Tim Hill parts into it ( a regulator, hammer, gauge port, some lighter springs, etc . . . . . )

Buy a few parts / tools - not a huge chuck of money:

As others have already alluded to - degas it just to be safe - degas tool available @PA and many other places I suspect

Buy some of this silicone lube -> https://www.amazon.com/Trident-acc577-Silicone-Grease-2oz/dp/B0000DCVZL/ref=asc_df_B0000DCVZL/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198063634469&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=310893225741945322&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9058780&hvtargid=aud-801738734305:pla-343141348794&psc=1

Go to archerairguns.com and get one of his pre-packaged sets of O-Rings - you get TWO sets - wiggle room for if/when you mess up the first time.

My .02 cents advice - be sure to liberally lube ALL of the o-rings prior to reassembly. I got mine back together and its holding air just fine. Now just waiting for decent weather to return so I can work on tuning it / sighting it in.

Check this video out - I referenced it / practically used it as a "bible" the first time I took mine apart - the guy is a well known tuner ( and very good one at that ) does a really nice job of explaining everything and showing you how to both pull it apart and then re-assemble after the fact.

Give it a whirl - you might be surprised at how simple it actually is. I sure was. :)

Wow, amazing detail. Thank you for the information. I may actually give it a try.

Good for you, once you take it apart you'll be amazed at just how fast you can become knowledgeable.

I would however recommend just ordering orings from a place like the oringstore

https://www.theoringstore.com/store/

Those packaged oring sets are way overpriced. Just use the oring list below and for the price of 2 of those packaged oring sets, you can have enough orings for years to come.

Hello, I have a .25 Marauder that is leaking. I have my gun tore apart and ready to rebuild. I was looking at the website and part numbers above and oringstore.com doesn't pull up those part numbers. I was able to locate a couple by description but some were still missing. Does anyone have the actual sizes required or maybe verify a proper rebuild kit. Its warm out right now and I've seen several ground squirrels out that need to be taken care of. Appreciate any help.
