Benjamin Ironhide... Powerful and accurate or powerful and Chinese?

Right now I’m prepping for my first pellet gun (wish me luck!) and this gun brought me to a small halt. This thing apparently has 1100 FPS with .22 and costs around the same amount like the Hatsan mod 95 which I was planning to get. Accuracy over power ALWAYS, but I’d like to know if this gun is just Chinese junk or if it is quality like Hatsan (I know it’s not as good as Diana but hatsan has good quality control - please contradict me if I am wrong). Even if it is as good I would probably not get it because it has a ugly synthetic stock and the look disgusts me with that weird tip.

Thanks,

Antoni

Well, I certainly don't go for break-barrels as a rule and I am resistant to marketing gimmicks... but I did pick one of these up last week.

It rolls woodchucks nicely enough, and has been certainly as accurate as my tired eyeballs can manage. Quieter than I expected, but there is enough mass jumping forward that you do indeed feel it thump. I have not installed the factory scope due to enormous parallax, and I feel its durability may be suspect on the heavier .22 gun. Front sight got some highlight paint, and the adjustable trigger is adequate to its task.

I am already exploring how to disassemble the barrel shroud for a bit of paint, but that is just aesthetics. The stock cranks into a steady stance well enough, with the balance point right on the textured portion of the foregrip.
